Mission & Aim
Voiceless is an animal welfare organization that strives to raise awareness of animal rights and well-being, emphasizing shelter refuge and responsible pet ownership. Our mission is to share with the community, particularly our youth, that animals matter and will not go unheard or unattended in cases of abuse or neglect. We also discuss how we can help stop the mistreatment of animals in our school and the world.
My Role
I am a Co-Leader for Voiceless and have a central role in developing initiatives promoting knowledge about animal capital penalties. This entails using social media to further reach, researching Korean animal legislation/ basic medical knowledge and animal ethics, and planning events with local and global communities to bring them closer to supporting our cause. I am also responsible for outreach programs, volunteer management, and any other projects in which we endeavor to reflect our mission.
Community Service &
Volunteer Work
As volunteers, we consistently attend Incheon and Gyeonggi animal shelters to help care for the animals in person and enhance their living conditions. I am also contributing to a children's storybook about responsible pet ownership, which will be distributed in local welfare centers so that young readers can learn early on the value of compassion and responsibility toward animals. Greater Public Awareness: This has helped provide some education and awareness of the issue within our community.

Raising Awareness
Voiceless also uses social media campaigns and other outreach to connect our community with the campaign for animal consciousness. In addition, I have participated in planning animal advocacy events that get people talking about the need to save and protect animals and end up taking some action even if it starts on a local level.
Animal Rights Advocacy Campaign
Fundraising & Advocacy Efforts
We have held bazaars, raised 2.3K, and donated nutritional food supplies to the nearby animal shelter in Gyounggi. I also spoke for the Voiceless at a South Korean National Congress event in honor of Children's Day, sharing with an audience totaling more than 500 the urgent concerns around animal rights and legislation prevailing throughout Korea. This work also gave me a sound knowledge base of Korean animal protection legislation, which I used to push for further development and reform.
Impact & Lessons Learned
Running Voiceless has given me a deep dive into animal welfare and advocacy work and showed me how legislation is one of the most vital ways we ensure that animals are protected. Learning more about basic animal medicine, health, and ethics has given me a greater perspective in trying to do the best for shelter animals under my circumstances. It was through hosting bake sales and community programs that I learned social media activism can change lives, and it took part of my time to understand the impact of volunteering. These experiences have made me more devoted than ever to the fight for animal rights, and I plan on continuing my work on behalf of animals locally and globally.
