 International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM)- Top10 High School, Best Education, and Gold Medal ('22) and Bronze Medal ('24)

October 2024 & October 2022

I actively contributed to the Human Practices and Wiki teams for the project 'Novel Digital Data Storage Model: TFAM-DNA Packing Architectural Role for the Stability of DNA,' which led our Korean high school team to achieve Top 10 High School Team, Best Education, and Gold Medal honors out of 340+ teams at the 2022 iGEM competition. In 2024, I mentored and advised the Human Practices team for the project, 'Evolutionary Engineering of Synechocystis sp. for High-Efficiency CO2 to PHB Bioconversion,' significantly boosting the team’s success and recognition in the iGEM's synthetic biology research area. We won the Bronze medal out of 390+ teams.

International AMIS Solo/Ensemble - Blue Ribbon (First Prize) 

Febuary 2024

I performed in a cello duet of Antonio Vivaldi's 'Concerto for Two Cellos in G Minor, KV 531,' where we earned the most prestigious Blue Ribbon with distinction (1st Prize out of 50+ teams) at the internationally acclaimed AMIS musical performance competition. This achievement highlighted my exceptional musical talent and collaboration skills on a global stage. 

KAIAC/KIMEA National Honor Festival 

February 2024 & February 2023

The KAIAC/KIMEA National Honor Festivals are prestigious annual events organized by the Korean International Music Educators Association. They select concert performers through a rigorous, nationwide audition process in each musical category. Only the most talented musicians are chosen to perform, ensuring a high-caliber showcase of skill and collaboration. I successfully passed the audition to perform as a double bass player in the orchestra. 

Korean Science and Engineering Fair - Bronze Medal

November 2023

I earned the Bronze Medal  out of 260+ teams for innovative inventions through the research, "상처 치유 패치 개발: 꿀벌 밀랍과 프로폴리스의 응용," demonstrating creativity and technical prowess in scientific development.

Forensic Investigation CSI Competition - First Prize

October 2023

In a forensic science competition, we secured the First Prize out of 25 teams, showcasing exceptional analytical and investigative skills. My role was to conduct the scientific analysis of the DNA fand make presentation materials for the final delivery. 

KAIAC Large Group Festivals - Platinum & Gold 

November 2022 & November 2021

I played double bass in the school's highest musical group, receiving Gold (2022) and Platinum (2021) awards out of 14 schools. This contributed to the ensemble's national acclaim.
